Bring inclusive gardening and outdoor learning to your setting with our Wheelchair-Friendly Raised Planters.
Designed in collaboration with SEND pupils, these planters allow wheelchair users and children with mobility needs to comfortably access the planting area from all sides.
Each planter is hand-built in Kent using smooth, child-safe PAR treated timber. The underside structure is specially designed to allow wheelchairs underneath, creating a shallower planting bed at the perfect working height.
Perfect for horticultural learning, sensory spaces, outdoor classrooms and EYFS exploration zones.

Pricing Information
The advertised price is for a planter designed for two students, with a minimum length of 70cm (allowing two wheelchair users to work opposite each other).
Because all our planters are handmade to order and can be built in a wide range of lengths and heights, pricing varies depending on the size you choose. Larger planters (such as our 140cm version for four pupils) are priced accordingly.
If you’d like a quote for a larger or custom-sized planter, feel free to contact us — we’re happy to help you design the right size for your space and pupils.
